Security Incident: Loaded handgun found in sideyard

Hello Everyone,

This afternoon when I got home after work, I was out in the yard with my dog and noticed something on the table in the yard. Turns out it was a loaded hand gun.

I called the police and turned it in immediately. The police told me it was loaded. I have no idea how it got there, and nothing was amiss in the area.

I hope that no one here was careless enough to leave something that dangerous out in the yard unattended. If it does belong to you, you will need to contact the police to get it back.

Please be aware of security around our property. Please call 911 to report any suspicious activity you see either in the back alleyway, or for any unauthorized individuals in our backyard (which should not be accessible without a key).
