Grounds Committee - 10/17/2016 update

Hello all,

Sorry I have been a bit MIA, busy fall so far and inaddition as you all know my email account was hacked and blocked. Makes one aware of how much this electronic stuff rules our lives....kind of scary. I believe I am back on track now.

As things wind down for the winter here is a few notables:

The irrigation system has been shut down for the winter

tasks that are still available for rebate hours are:

Continued mowing which will now turn into mulching of the leaves. I have no one signed up for the remainder of the season for either, if interested let me know.

raking and gathering leaves

cutting down perennials: this include hostas, and most perennials down to about 4 inches off the ground, most perennial grasses can be left with some trimming off sidewalks for ease this winter.

I would like to have a ground committee meeting some possible dates:

Oct. 22, 9 or 10 a.m.

Oct. 24 5 or 6 pm

we will mainly cover budget items and review the planning being done by the sub group led by Mark regarding the front gardens.

I have included those interested in the past with grounds work here if there is someone I missed please pass along. Once we get a meeting date set up I will communicate to all as well as minutes from said meeting.
